Registration is now open for the 2024 IaCMA Summer Conference and Golf Outing as well as annual membership dues: 2024 IaCMA Summer Conference Registration.

This year's IaCMA Summer Conference will be held July 10-12 at Hotel Julien in Dubuque. The conference offers education on issues important to those in the city management profession along with a variety of networking opportunities. 
Conference Agenda
A full conference agenda will be posted to the IaCMA website soon, and below you can see a summary of what is planned for the workshops:
  • Keynote
    Chris Lee is the Executive Director for Des Moines County Conservation and is also an "Organizational Ecologist" that helps leaders cultivate thriving organizational "ecosystems" (a conservation guy's term for culture), leading to improved employee engagement, retention and productivity. But most of all, his dream is to help people enjoy their work.
  • UNI Master of Public Policy Program Discussion
  • Cybersecurity and IT Management
  • CM@Risk Improvement Projects and Award of Contract Elements
  • Civic Participation Concerns and Potential Solutions
  • Discussion on Legislative Affairs
Another highlight is a tour of the Field of Dreams for one of the evening events; more details to come but attendees will enjoy this special treat!

Golf Outing
The annual Summer Conference golf outing will be held Wednesday, July 10, 11:30 am at The Meadows in AsburyRegistration is separate for the outing at $60, and includes green fees and a lunch. Teams will compete in a best-shot format and there will be a lot of fun prizes handed out.
